Job summary

Ashley Furniture Homestores is seeking a field-based leader to support licensee sales, training, and merchandising across the district. The role involves frequent travel (80%) to identify opportunities, onboard new stores, and align strategies with brand standards.

You will foster strong licensee relations and drive wholesale growth. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in retail sales/management, with knowledge of franchise operations; visual merchandising and training experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Management, Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Three to five years of retail sales and sales management or distribution center experience, preferably in furniture retail.
• Visual Merchandising, Furniture or Training experience a plus.
• Exceptional knowledge of retail, sales and training operations processes.
• Willingness to travel 80%
• Ability to facilitate training and/or presentations to groups.

Responsibilities

• Identify and support licensees in product training, merchandising and assortments to grow wholesale sales.
• Support licensee new store openings and onboarding.
• Participate in operational strategy meetings to implement best practices for licensees.
• Ensure licensees comply with brand standards and reporting protocols to protect brand equity.
• Foster robust licensee communication and resolve issues; attend markets to introduce products and programs.
• Engage in quarterly licensee sales meetings and assist Tier 2-5 licensees as needed.
• Represent Ashley brand in community activities and events.
