Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking motivated individuals for its District Manager Trainee (DMT) program in the Louisville area. Over a 44-week training period, you will gain hands-on experience preparing you to oversee multiple ALDI stores, working with store managers to drive service, sales growth, and operational excellence.

The role progresses toward district management with a focus on staffing, training, budgeting, and policy execution, including travel across the Greenwood division to cover Louisville.

Qualifications

• Ability to develop rapport, trust, and open communication that enhances the performance of direct reports.
• Ability to facilitate group involvement when conducting meetings.
• Develops and maintains positive relationships with internal and external parties.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to store management to ensure desired results; leads and develops store management personnel.
• Leads, develops, and supervises the assigned store manager team to develop sales, engage our teams, satisfy our customers, and achieve high performance.
• Supports store management in fostering a positive working environment and teamwork.
• Develops action plans to improve operating results using company resources.
• Recruits, selects, promotes and assigns personnel within the district.
• Trains and develops direct reports to maximize professional potential.
• Oversees adherence to policies and ensures safe working environment.
• Oversees KPI results and develops plans to meet district goals and budgets.
• Plans district weekly operations calls and monthly one-to-ones, courses and events.
