Job summary

ALDI is seeking motivated individuals to join our District Manager Trainee (DMT) program. Over a 44-week training period, you will gain knowledge and hands‑on experience preparing you to oversee multiple ALDI stores as a district manager.

This role covers the Saxonburg Division serving Indiana, Johnstown, Clarion, Dubois, Clearfield and Altoona, with daily travel and opportunities for leadership in a growing retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field is required.
• Ability to develop rapport and open communication with direct reports.
• Strong negotiation and conflict management skills.
• Proven ability to interpret and apply operating policies and procedures.
• Experience in managing personnel and coordinating staffing plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop store management personnel to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare action plans to improve operating results and staff performance.
• Recruit, select, promote and assign staff across locations within the district.
• Provide coaching and feedback to store personnel and managers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
