Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking motivated individuals for its District Manager Trainee program in the Dwight division serving Springfield, IL. The 44-week training prepares you to oversee multiple ALDI stores, working with store managers to ensure customer service excellence and strong store performance.

The role offers a starting salary of $95,000 with a $5,000 signing bonus and scheduled increases to $110,000 and beyond, with potential to reach $130,000 by Year 4.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
• Ability to develop rapport, trust, and open communication.
• Ability to facilitate group involvement during meetings.
• Develops and maintains positive relationships with internal and external parties.
• Willingness to travel domestically.

Responsibilities

• Communicates responsibilities and performance expectations to store management to ensure results; leads and develops store management personnel.
• Leads, develops, and supervises the assigned store manager team to drive sales and high performance.
• Supports store management in fostering a positive working environment and teamwork.
• Develops and implements action plans using company resources to improve results.
• Oversees staffing and staffing decisions for personnel within the district.
• Trains and develops direct reports to realize their potential.
• Observes performance and provides feedback and coaching.
• Oversees resolution of escalated employee and customer concerns.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and safety standards.
• Manages budget adherence and loss prevention initiatives.
• Plans district meetings and training sessions as prescribed.
