ALDI is seeking motivated individuals to join our District Manager Trainee (DMT) program. Over a 44-week intensive training period you will gain knowledge and hands‑on experience preparing you to oversee multiple ALDI stores as a district manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
• Ability to develop rapport and open communication with direct reports.
• Strong leadership and group facilitation abilities.
• Knowledge of ALDI operating policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to store management to ensure desired results.
• Leads, develops, and supervises the assigned store manager team to achieve sales and high performance.
• Supports store management in fostering a positive working environment and teamwork.
• Develops and implements action plans to improve operating results.
• Recruit, select, promote, and staff locations within the district.
• Train and develop direct reports to maximize potential.
• Observe and coach store employees to improve performance.
• Oversee resolution of escalated employee and customer concerns.
• Model and enforce company policies and compliance.
• Maintain safe working environment and address hazards.
• Supervise expense controls, inventory, and cash handling to minimize losses.
• Ensure store managers uphold standards and KPI targets.
• Plan and conduct district meetings and training sessions.
