Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking motivated individuals for the District Manager Trainee (DMT) program in the Champaign, IL area. The 44-week training prepares you to oversee multiple ALDI stores, develop store management teams, and drive exceptional customer service while modeling ALDI’s core values.

Starting salary is $95,000 with a $5,000 signing bonus and scheduled increases to $110,000, $120,000, and $130,000 in subsequent years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to develop and implement action plans using company resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the store management team to drive sales and achieve high performance.
• Communicate expectations and results to district teams to ensure desired outcomes.
• Recruit, select, promote, and staff personnel within the district.
• Coach store personnel to meet customer service guidelines and company policies.
• Collaborate with the store manager to resolve escalated employee and customer concerns.
