Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking motivated individuals for the District Manager Trainee (DMT) program. Over a 44-week training period you will gain knowledge and hands-on experience preparing you to oversee multiple ALDI stores as a district manager.

This full-time role covers Dwight division areas in Eastern Iowa, Central Illinois and Chicago with domestic travel daily. Starting salary is $95,000 plus a $5,000 signing bonus and scheduled increases to $110,000–$130,000 over four years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
• Willingness to travel domestically daily.
• Experience leading store management teams.

Responsibilities

• Communicates job responsibilities to store management and leads development of store management personnel.
• Leads and supervises the store manager team to develop sales and engage teams, satisfy customers and achieve high performance.
• Supports store management in fostering a positive working environment and teamwork.
• Develops and implements action plans to improve operating results.
• Recruit, select, promote and staff district stores to ensure proper staffing.
