Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a District Manager Trainee (DMT) to complete a 44-week training program and prepare for multi-store district leadership. The role involves working with store managers to drive service, performance, and sales growth across the Frederick area and neighboring regions.

The starting salary is $95,000 with a $5,000 signing bonus, and scheduled increases to $110,000, $120,000 and $130,000 in subsequent years. Domestic travel is required daily, and full-time benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to develop and implement district-wide plans.

Responsibilities

• Communicates expectations to store management and leads the management team.
• Develops and supervises store manager teams to drive sales and high performance.
• Fosters positive working environment and teamwork across reports.
• Develops action plans to improve operating results across districts.
• Oversees staffing, recruitment, and assignments within the district.
• Trains and develops direct reports to maximize potential.
• Provides feedback and coaching on performance.
