Jackson Hewitt is seeking a District Manager to lead a portfolio of 20-30 locations, driving sales, service excellence, and financial results. You will recruit, coach, and develop store leaders, ensuring compliance and operational standards across the district.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a strategic focus on profitability and customer experience. Travel within the district is required to manage performance and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years' experience in retail management preferred.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities are essential.
• Excellent communication skills and a track record of team development.
• Experience with multi-unit P&L responsibility is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Manage local P&L, staffing, scheduling, store setup, and marketing initiatives.
• Ensure asset safety and compliance with company policies and safety standards.
• Build a high-performing team through recruitment, guidance, and development.
• Create development plans to retain top talent and improve morale.
• Coach store leadership and provide feedback to improve performance.
• Collaborate with HR and operations to resolve employee relations issues.
