Job summary

Jackson Hewitt in Wisconsin is seeking a District Manager to lead a multi-store operation, build a high‑performing team, and drive results by delivering exceptional client service and strong financial performance.

The role requires 3–5 years of retail management experience, a bachelor’s degree, and proven ability to recruit, mentor staff, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with company and government standards. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in retail management or multi-unit leadership.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead a team and engage staff.
• Ability to develop talent and mentor associates for advancement.
• Experience with financial aspects of retail including P&L responsibility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage local P&L, staffing, scheduling, store setup, operations and marketing initiatives.
• Ensure safety and compliance of assets, clients, and employees through regular visits and training.
• Build and lead a high-performing team through recruitment, guidance, training, and development.
• Develop retention strategies and maintain high morale and retention rates for top associates.
• Coach store leadership, provide feedback, and improve performance.
