Job summary

Capstone Restaurant Group in Iowa is seeking a District Manager to oversee the performance of the Restaurant Management Teams across the district. The District Manager ensures each Restaurant Management Team meets job expectations and operates within company policies.

Responsibilities include training, coaching, evaluating standards, developing General Managers and GMITs, and driving guest satisfaction while ensuring food safety and financial performance. Travel 4–5 days/week is expected.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years restaurant experience required.
• 3–5 years in management positions (multi-unit preferred).
• Financial planning: budgeting, scheduling, and P&L management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Restaurant Management Teams across the district.
• Ensure training, motivation, and performance coaching for staff.
• Evaluate QSC standards and conduct regular inspections.
• Coach General Managers and GMITs; monitor performance against standards.
• Support marketing programs and ensure legal and policy compliance.
• Recruit and promote management talent; align skills with district needs.
