Job summary

Airgas is seeking a District Manager for Eugene, OR to lead a multi-branch sales team and drive safety, profitability, and customer excellence. You will mentor staff, manage P&L, and coordinate resources across the district.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years in a relevant field, strong communication, and proficiency in Microsoft tools. A driver's license and willingness to travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience; ideally 5+ years in a relevant field.
• Proven history of advancing sustainable sales success and profitable growth.
• Proven history of increasing responsibility in B2B sales or sales ops; mentoring a team and P&L stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Mentor sales teams to reach exceptional safety standards and performance milestones.
• Provide diligent P&L stewardship for assigned branches and territory.
• Cultivate exceptional customer service and product knowledge with a collaborative problem-solving approach.
• Advocate for safety measures through meetings and alignment with safety protocols.
• Optimize margins by executing strategic plans from leadership while managing expenses.
• Develop staff skills and product expertise through ongoing learning.
• Support branch hiring, training, and holistic management with the Branch Manager.
• Prepare sales data and forecasts to inform leadership decisions.
• Coordinate paperwork, inventory, pricing, and profitability for operations.
