Job summary

Old Navy in San Francisco is seeking a District Manager to lead a portfolio of stores, coach General Managers, and drive superior customer and employee experiences. You will oversee operations, merchandising execution, productivity and profitable growth.

You will attract and develop talent, monitor performance, and maintain an inclusive, high-performing district. Travel between stores and overnight stays may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive results across multiple stores.
• Strong merchandising and customer experience focus.
• Experience leading diverse teams in a high-volume retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop and retain the best team to meet both short and long-term business goals.
• Monitor performance and consistently follow up to ensure results are delivered.
• Develop individual and team performance via clear expectations, conversations, recognition and accountability.
• Foster an inclusive and collaborative work environment.
• Identify product performance themes across portfolios and create a district merchandising plan.
• Lead effective store visits focused on driving behaviors and results.
• Identify and use multiple paths to achieve goals; plan contingencies.
• Identify and solve problems with sustainable solutions.
• Maintain awareness of external market and competition.
• Ensure stores comply with Gap Inc. policies and procedures.
