Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a District Manager to lead at least 15 store teams across the assigned area in Springfield, MA. You will drive profitability, deliver outstanding customer service, and maintain a safe, compliant work environment.

You will coach and mentor store managers, oversee merchandising and operations, recruit talent, and manage budgets to meet company goals. Travel up to 50% with overnight stays as needed across the district.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• 5+ years retail experience with at least 2 years multi-store experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and frequent walking/standing.

Responsibilities

• Lead 15+ store teams across the district to ensure profitability.
• Oversee merchandising, operations, and expense control programs.
• Coach and mentor store managers to meet business objectives.
• Drive sales, profitability, and expense management to meet goals.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and customer service excellence.
• Travel up to 50% with overnight stays as needed across the district.
