Job summary

Wings Over is seeking a District Manager to lead a team across multiple restaurant locations in the Northeast United States. You will drive operational excellence, coach store leaders, and ensure guest experience and high-quality food align with Wings Over standards.

The role requires 5+ years in restaurant supervision (2+ in QSR), multi-unit leadership (50+ employees), remote management and travel. Travel 50-75% and occasional openings support, with in-store leadership development and P&L focus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of restaurant supervisory experience, including 2+ years in QSR.
• 1+ years leading multi-unit stores or managing GMs (50+ employees).
• Experience managing remotely and traveling for work.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant cost controls and safety compliance (Serv-Safe; wage & hour; immigration).
• Excellent remote and in-person communication skills and attention to detail.
• Legal US work authorization and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• In-store 4-5 days per week, visiting designated locations.
• Train, coach, and develop store leadership across locations.
• Lead weekly store syncs to set goals and track long-term targets.
• Drive top-line sales and improve performance using key metrics.
• Support new store openings in recruiting, training, and launching.
• Travel 50-75% to cover corporate and franchise locations.
• Serve as liaison between stores and corporate HQ.
• Ensure P&L management with focus on sales, productivity, and production.
• Identify root causes of operations and people opportunities and implement improvements.

Wings Over is seeking a District Manager to join our team. As a District Manager, you will lead a team focused on operational excellence in your designated restaurants. This person will share responsibility for locations in the North Eastern US, including MA, NY, and CT.

Day in the Life (includes, but not limited to):

• In-store 4-5 days per week, alternating locations as needed
• Training, coaching, and inspiring all designate locations to deliver exceptional guest experiences and high-quality food ensuring a commitment to Wings Over's standards
• Develop store leadership at all levels of store operations through store visits, one-on-ones, development plans, goal setting and coaching
• Use weekly store syncs to set short-term goals and drive the success of identified long-term goals
• Build a pipeline of leadership talent to fuel growth and engagement
• Hit the road to fill in leadership gaps as needed
• Support new store openings in recruiting, hiring, training staff, and launching new locations, both corporate and franchise
• Take lead on in-store rollouts of new initiatives, procedures, and promotions to include testing, giving feedback, and continued execution
• Serve as liaison between store leadership and corporate headquarters
• Deliver a balanced P&L across designated locations, with primary focus on top-line sales, productivity, and production management
• Drive top-line sales and continuous performance improvement focusing on leading indicators and established key metrics. Must be balanced in the approach of focusing on people, financial, and guest experience metrics equally
• 50-75% travel as needed to accomplish all tasks

What You Bring To The Table:

• 5+ years of restaurant supervisory experience with 2+ years in QSR
• 1+ years leading multi-unit stores and managing GMs, or leading a high-volume single unit with 50+ employees
• Experience managing remotely and traveling for work
• History of developing talent
• Demonstrated management of applicable restaurant regulatory areas, including employee safety; Serv-Safe; wage + hour; immigration; food safety
• A sophisticated understanding of restaurant cost and controls
• Strong remote and in-person communication skills
• Obsessive attention to detail
• Love for learning, teaching, coaching, and developing
• A disciplined approach to enforcing accountability in stores
• A disciplined approach to priority setting with the ability to identify the root cause of store operations and people opportunities, and move quickly to improve performance
• Availability to travel to support surrounding corporate and franchise locations
• Self-motivated, action oriented, positive and humble attitude, high level of integrity
• Valid driver's license and insurance
• Legal US work authorization
