Job summary

Wings Over is hiring a General Manager to lead our quick-service restaurant in Boston. You will oversee daily operations, coach team members, and uphold Wings Over standards, values, and guest experience.

Two years of management and three years in food service are required, with Serv-Safe certification. You’ll manage staffing, control costs, ensure food safety, and build community partnerships while driving growth and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of management experience in food service.
• Minimum three years of food service experience, with at least one in fast-casual or QSR.
• Serv-Safe Certification required.
• Flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Ability to communicate clearly and manage confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop team to meet Wings Over standards and guest experience.
• Monitor staffing levels, scheduling, and coaching for operational excellence.
• Analyze cost and inventory reports to optimize profitability.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation compliance in FOH and BOH.
• Provide training and feedback to maintain consistent service.
• Engage with the community and represent Wings Over at events.

Wings Over is seeking a General Manager to join our team. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and growing a quick-service restaurant.

Day in the Life (includes, but is not limited to):

• Let’s get our hands dirty: Work side by side with the team frying chicken, greeting guests, and modeling Wings Over standards, values, and behaviors
• Manages with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes the culture, values, and mission of Wings Over
• Monitors and manages store staffing levels, recruiting, and hiring using scheduling, coaching, and hands-on management to achieve operational excellence
• Analyzes reports such as COGs, inventory, and labor to identify and address trends and issues affecting in-store performance
• Ensures food safety by leading disciplined execution in FOH and BOH, following health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Serves a consistent product and service by providing proper team training and giving regular feedback
• Resolves conflicts promptly in a thoughtful, empathetic, and fair manner
• Participates in the community by identifying partnerships, joining community events, and engaging our neighbors
• Other related duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Table:

• Two (2) years of management experience
• Three (3) years of food service experience (line-level or management); At least one (1) of those years in fast-casual/QSR
• Serv-Safe Certification required
• Flexible schedule- available nights, holidays, and weekends
• Passionate about food and guest service
• Able to manage store operations independently
• Able to communicate clearly and concisely
• Able to appropriately handle confidential/sensitive information
• Proactive in identifying problems and implementing solutions
• Inspired to drive the growth of your team members and yourself
• Calm and collected in moments of pressure
• Flexible and open-minded: able to propose changes and implement new programs introduced by others or created in-house
• Able to lift 50 lbs. and can stand for prolonged periods of time
• Valid driver’s license and current insurance
• Legal US work authorization
