Job summary

PLS is seeking a District Manager to lead multiple stores in the New York area, driving outstanding customer service and achieving financial objectives. You will mentor Store Managers, ensure policy compliance, and develop relationships with customers to drive repeat business.

The role requires 3+ years in multi-unit management across retail/financial services and a proactive, energetic leadership style. A vehicle and valid license are required, with travel to stores regularly.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of multi-unit management experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, and restaurant.
• Ability to engage with customers and develop positive relationships
• Strong communication and presentation skills; high-energy, collaborative leadership
• Professional appearance and demeanor; honesty and integrity
• Competent in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current proof of insurance

Responsibilities

• Maintaining exemplary customer service within the district and community
• Developing and executing plans to improve store and area performance as needed
• Recruiting, developing, and motivating Store Managers who exceed internal and external customer expectations
• Ensuring the company’s cash security policies and procedures are followed
• Creating special business relationships with customers to encourage repeat business
• Establishing a strong customer service culture
• Analyzing financial statements and trends to increase and maximize sales
• Developing strategies to increase market share and store revenues
• Controlling labor hours, cash, store audits, and shrinkage
• Performing district reviews of each store to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Additional duties as assigned by management
