Burlington Stores in New York–Stony Brook is seeking a District Manager to lead several multi-million-dollar stores, drive sales and deliver operational excellence. You will supervise Store Managers, control expenses, and guide teams to achieve key performance indicators.

The role requires 7+ years in retail management, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling software, and willingness to travel across markets within the district.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of Retail Management experience.
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs and be familiar with computerized scheduling and reporting software.
• Travel is required to all markets within designated district.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-million-dollar sales volumes in a multi-site environment to maximize sales, gross margin and inventory turns.
• Oversee compliance of Store Managers with policies, HR practices, security and store procedures.
• Develop store managers and associates through coaching to drive sales and KPIs.
• Manage expenses to increase profitability and monitor payroll budgets.
• Coordinate promotions, openings/closures, and store operations to ensure service and efficiency.
