Job summary

Capstone Restaurant Group in Illinois seeks a District Manager to oversee restaurant management teams, ensuring performance and guest satisfaction across the district.

You will train, coach, and evaluate General Managers and GMITs, manage P&L, and drive adherence to QSC standards while supporting local marketing and vendor negotiations.

Requires 7–10 years of restaurant experience with 3–5 years in leadership; extensive travel 4-5 days weekly is expected to support stores in the district.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of restaurant experience required.
• 3–5 years in management positions, preferably multi-unit management.
• Financial planning including budgeting, scheduling, and P&L management.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all District Team Members are trained, motivated, and empowered to deliver total Guest satisfaction.
• Evaluates each restaurant's QSC standards and provides feedback and coaching.
• Communicates customer comments to Restaurant Manager and ensures timely resolution.
• Ensures GM and GMITs receive orientation, training, and development opportunities.
• Trains, coaches, and provides regular performance feedback to Team Members.
• Evaluates General Managers and GMITs against set standards and expectations.
• Provides counseling and/or discipline as needed.
• Supports training and rollout of new products, programs, and changes.
• Actively recruits General Managers and GMITs and aligns management talent with district needs.
• Analyzes business performance and initiates corrective actions as needed.
• Supports company marketing programs and evaluates local restaurant marketing strategies.
• Ensures business and personnel practices comply with laws and company policies.
• Serves as a role model for the team in all aspects of management.
• Negotiates vendor contracts and follows approval processes.
• Upholds food safety and sanitation requirements.
