Job summary
Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a District Human Resources Manager in Knoxville, TN. This role partners with district leadership to execute human capital strategy, nurture associate engagement, and drive talent development across 8 locations and 179 associates.
You will report to the District Manager and align with Area HR for strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include onboarding excellence, talent management, workforce planning, and labor relations support while ensuring
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3+ years in a human resources role (generalist, specialist or recruiting).
- SHRM or HRCI certification preferred (PHR, SHRM-CP).
- Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead onboarding and new associate experience across the district.
- Coach managers on people management and development plans.
- Support staffing, recruitment strategy and workforce planning.
- Advise on interpretation of HR policies and labor relations.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and Penske policies.
