Job summary

Einstein Bros. Bagels is seeking a District Shift Leader to advance toward becoming a General Manager. You will perform management duties at a home location, train teams, and support other bakeries in the market. Shifts start as early as 3am to ensure smooth opening and high-quality service.

You’ll gain experience in P&L analysis, scheduling, and recruiting while progressing toward a bakery GM role. Benefits include robust health coverage, 401K, and a strong work-life balance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Must be able to work varied hours including early hours and weekends (as early as 3am).
• Must pass background check and have a valid driver’s license.
• Complete Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification program by the end of the GM development plan.

Responsibilities

• Lead District Shift Leaders and support the GM development track.
• Provide daily coaching, training, and maintain high-quality food and a safe, clean store environment.
• Assist with inventory tracking, vendor orders, and cash management.
• Support GMs across locations in the market as needed and prepare for permanent GM promotions.
