Job summary

Yona in New Jersey seeks a Food Services District Manager to lead dietary operations across multiple facilities. You will coach district managers, ensure meals meet quality standards, and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while promoting warm, resident‑focused service.

You will manage budgeting, forecasting, inventory, staffing, and training; drive dining programs that enhance the resident experience; and supervise directors and supervisors to uphold safety,

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate's or higher degree in food service management or hospitality.
• Two years of supervisory experience in food service, preferably in long-term care.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and strong administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Meets with Food Services District Managers and managers regularly to coach and provide feedback on performance and professional development.
• Leads quality dining programs that enhance the meal experience for residents.
• Ensures dining programs meet federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary food service operation.
• Forecasts and plans purchase of supplies and equipment.
• Interviews, hires and orients Food Services Directors and Supervisors for facilities in the district.
