Job summary

Aramark Safety & Risk Control seeks a District Safety Manager to oversee safety programs across venues in the Cleveland S&E district, providing leadership, coaching, and support to protect employees, guests, clients and assets.

The role includes collaboration with NPO groups, venue leadership, and safety teams; travel within the US/Canada for large events; emphasis on regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Public Health, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Safety certifications such as OSHA 30, CSP, ASP, CHST, ServSafe, or equivalent.
• Experience leading safety programs in hospitality, food service, sports, entertainment, manufacturing, distribution, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of incident investigation, regulatory compliance, safety training, and risk mitigation.
• Proven ability to influence and coach leaders at all levels.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Flex schedule including nights, weekends, holidays; travel within district.
• Legal ability to travel within the United States and Canada as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary safety resource for district operations and venue leadership.
• Lead implementation and execution of Aramark safety, health, food safety, and risk management programs.
• Conduct safety assessments, audits, inspections, and operational reviews.
• Analyze incident trends and develop corrective actions with operations.
• Support incident investigations and ensure regulatory reporting compliance.
• Coach, train, and mentor managers and frontline employees on safety.
• Facilitate district safety meetings and engagement initiatives.
• Partner with regulatory agencies and accompany inspectors during site visits and evaluations.
• Manage corrective action processes to meet regulatory requirements and prevent recurrences.
• Drive compliance related to safety, sanitation, environmental standards, and emergency preparedness.
• Support large-scale events with safety guidance.
