Job summary

Kansas City Public Schools is seeking a Custodial Area Manager to lead custodial operations across multiple locations in Kansas City, MO. You will supervise the Assist Custodial Manager and Zone supervisors and uphold the district's high standards and customer relations.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, with three years of supervisory custodial experience; a Bachelor's degree in Business is preferred. The position offers a full-time schedule and a competitive salary with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three years of supervisory experience in a custodial role.
• Associate’s degree with three years supervisory experience is acceptable.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Custodial program for KCPS across multiple sites.
• Oversee and train the Assist Custodial Manager and Zone supervisors.
• Maintain high standards and public relations within facilities.
• Coordinate monthly reviews and special programs as required.
• Ensure efficient use of man hours and supplies.
