Kansas City Public Schools in Kansas City, Missouri is seeking a Custodial Zone Supervisor to manage the custodial program across multiple sites and oversee the Assist Custodial Manager and Zone supervisors. Immediate start and 12-month in-person schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED) and three years supervisory experience in custodial field.
• Associate’s degree and three years supervisory experience in a related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, with a background in facilities management and/or business.

Responsibilities

• Enforce quality standards in each building of responsibility.
• Control hours by scheduling to accommodate school needs.
• Maintain training and attendance records on employees.
• Arrange for adequate coverage of absences.
• Perform monthly inspections with principals or their designees.
• Monitor supplies, equipment usage and inventory. Perform quarterly inventories.
• Has technical knowledge regarding chemicals, equipment, procedures, and programs.
• Supervise all Custodial staff in the zone of responsibility.
• Conduct building site visits to observe work performance and act as liaison with school staff.
