Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a District Asset Protection Manager to lead loss prevention across multiple stores. You will train managers, implement safety programs, and reduce shortages while safeguarding customers, associates and merchandise.

You’ll travel to all stores in your district, partner with store management, HR, and legal, and guide investigations from start to resolution. 6+ years in retail asset protection and proficiency with Think LP, Secure 5, and MS Office are required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Retail Asset Protection experience.
• District or multi-unit management experience preferred.
• Familiar with asset protection programs and software such as Think LP and Secure 5; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Foster cross-functional partnerships with district, regional and store management, HR, legal, operations, and inventory control teams.
• Audit financial, merchandising, and operations results across locations and drive improvements.
• Lead the implementation of asset protection programs and train store teams to align with company objectives.
• Oversee shortage control staffing and manage payroll/expenses in line with budget.
• Conduct internal and external investigations and manage inquiries through resolution.
• Build strong relationships with law enforcement and legal professionals; interface on criminal and civil matters.
