Job summary

FirstEnergy is seeking a multi-site supervisor for its Ohio Edison operations. This full-time, on-site role guides teams engaged in the construction, maintenance and operation of electric transmission and distribution systems across central Ohio locations.

You will lead safety initiatives, ensure adherence to labor agreements, and coordinate cross-department work plans while driving continuous improvement and reliability for customers and communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 7 years related experience in an electrical field.
• Knowledge of AC/DC electrical circuits and related equipment and industry practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, communicate, and drive safety and performance improvements.
• Ability to learn SAP, FLEX, GIS, Cascade and FWRD and standard PC applications.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise employees in construction, maintenance, repair, testing and operation of electric transmission & distribution systems.
• Promote safety awareness and accountability among team members.
• Enforce established work practices and safety specifications.
• Coordinate equipment, tools, materials and supplies as required for projects.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop and execute work plans and schedules.
• Monitor work progress to ensure on-time, cost-efficient completion and proper documentation.
