Job summary

Exelon in Maryland is seeking a seasoned supervisor to plan, direct, and oversee craft personnel in the construction, operation and maintenance of overhead electric and gas facilities. You will ensure safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction while managing resources and coordinating with union-represented staff.

This role requires 4–7 years utility experience, 2–3 years supervisory experience, a valid driver's license, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years utility company experience or equivalent external experience.
• 2–3 years internal supervisory experience or acceptable Supervisory Assessment result.
• Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license.
• Demonstrated knowledge of operating and construction work practices.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to support and enforce safe work behavior; requires working knowledge of safety rules and work practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct craft employees to assure safety, reliability and productivity goals.
• Coach and evaluate employee performance; conduct performance reviews and growth opportunities; manage labor strategies under the collective bargaining agreement.
• Coordinate emergency response to restore service with 24-hour on-call responsibilities.
• Work within departmental budgets and plan resource coverage to meet business plans and objectives.
