Job summary

Entergy Louisiana is seeking a Field Coordinator - Distribution to lead safe, efficient execution of distribution construction, maintenance, and switching. You will validate switching orders, embed safety rules, and ensure readiness of permits, logistics, and crews before mobilization.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; related work experience acceptable.
7+ years of distribution or transmission line experience.
Ability to pass technical capability test or equivalent field experience.
Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

Safety leadership and high-risk planning; embed Life Critical Rules and safe-work practices into all pre‑job documentation.
Standards compliance, QA/QC discipline; validation of work packages and site assessments to eliminate discrepancies.
System operations support; validate switching packages, isolation points, and outage steps with DOC to ensure safe sequencing.
Execution readiness; verify permits, logistics, environmental needs, equipment staging, and material availability before crews mobilize.
Technical coaching; coach planners and field personnel to improve planning quality and resolve planning-phase challenges.
