Entergy Arkansas, LLC is seeking a Field Coordinator - Distribution to ensure safe, efficient execution of distribution construction, maintenance, restoration, and switching activities. You will plan, validate switching orders, and embed Life Critical Rules into pre‑job documentation to prevent delays.

The role requires 7+ years in distribution or transmission line work, with strong QA/QC and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or related work experience.
• 7+ years of distribution or transmission line experience with demonstrated competency and a clear understanding of advanced Linework skills.

• The ability to pass the technical capability test, demonstrating the required skills.
• To be eligible to test, meet one of: five years of discipline-specific field experience or SVP approval.

Responsibilities

• Safety Leadership & High‑Risk Planning - Anticipates hazards; embeds safety rules into pre‑job documentation; ensures safety controls before mobilization.
• Standards Compliance, Quality Control & Work Package Validation - Ensures alignment with standards; performs pre‑construction reviews and material verification; uses QA/QC to prevent discrepancies.
• System Operations Support, Switching Readiness & Outage Planning - Prepares and validates switching packages and outage steps; coordinates with DOC; supports restoration readiness.
• Execution Readiness & Work Enablement - Confirms job readiness; validates access, permits, logistics, equipment, and materials; coordinates across teams.
• Technical Coaching, Troubleshooting & Field Support - Coaches planners and field personnel; resolves planning gaps; participates in post‑job reviews.
