Job summary

PPL Electric Utilities is seeking a supervisor to oversee the electric distribution system operations and dispatching during shifts. You will guide 10–12 management and BU employees, ensuring safe operation, on‑time restoration, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

The role requires coordinating with field supervision, managing performance, and maintaining up‑to‑date logs and records while prioritizing safety and reliability for customers across a large service territory.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in dispatch, transmission or distribution system operations, or utility industry experience.
• Willingness to do shift work and overtime for emergencies/conditions.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of 10 to 12 management and BU employees.
• Oversee safe operation of the electric distribution system and system dispatch.
• Manage performance, coaching, and on‑the‑job training for staff.
• Coordinate outage restoration plans and communicate estimated restoration times to customers.
