Job summary

PPL Electric Utilities is seeking a Work Location Supervisor to oversee transmission and distribution work on electrical facilities, supervise line crews, and coordinate with field designers. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and timely restoration of power.

The position supports a 2nd shift (1400-2400, 8 days on, 6 days off) and may require after-hours during storms. On-site or remote work may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1 year of electrical or mechanical operations and maintenance or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated expertise/knowledge of energized and de-energized facilities; switching and tagging procedures; knowledge of training, clearances and working space requirements.
• DL Number - Driver License, valid and in state, and satisfactory driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the completion of capital and O&M work in the area.
• Respond to storm restoration efforts in the region as Work Location Supervisor.
• Work with field and GO designers to develop designs within approved hours.
• Apply safe working practices and train subordinates in safety.
• Provide customer satisfaction by applying cost effective work practices.
