Job summary

Hendrickson is seeking a Distribution Manager to lead our Kendallville, IN distribution operations, ensuring on-time delivery and safety excellence. You will supervise supervisors, drive continuous improvement, and partner with the OP staff on budgets and targets.

The role emphasizes OSHA standards, packing/shipping accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration with HR and manufacturing teams. Successful candidates will have 5+ years in distribution/manufacturing and a track record of process

Qualifications

5+ years in distribution/manufacturing environments.
Experience in distribution facility operations and supervision.
Knowledge of material handling equipment and safety standards (OSHA).
Ability to design and implement safety programs and cross-train staff.
Experience with pick/pack/ship and kitting processes.

Responsibilities

Supervise production supervisors to meet safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery targets.
Manage disciplinary actions and performance goals; provide training.
Lead process improvements via Kaizen and VSM events.
Oversee MOS process to reduce lost time and set REs for each job.
Participate in production planning and manage delivery planning.
Organize resources to meet on-time shipment goals.
Set operational targets, budgets, and capital plans; drive cost reductions.
Ensure adherence to quality standards so no substandard product reaches customers.
