D&H Distributing Co. is seeking a Director of Distribution for an onsite role in the Whiteland, IN area. The director will lead all DC operations, drive safety and quality, develop budgets, and push continuous improvement across teams of co-owners and managers.

This is a fully onsite position in a growing, employee-owned tech distributor serving SMBs and consumers. The role requires extensive logistics leadership experience, ISO emphasis, and stakeholder collaboration, with travel up to 10%.

Formación

• BA/BS in Logistics/Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ten (10) years of experience managing logistics contracts.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role in a fast-paced, large volume, high-intensity logistics environment, with strong focus on meeting/exceeding measurable metrics.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing multiple levels of management/direct reports and a large hourly workforce in a logistics and/or material distribution environment.
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively at multiple levels, in support of customer relationships; strong relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, teammates, customers, and the public.
• A proven track record of mentoring and developing promotability with direct reports and subordinates.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in an environment of changing priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Directing and implementing all policy and procedures for operations.
• Ensuring all co-owners adhere to safety and quality procedures and compliance with regulations/policies.
• Establish goals and objectives for the DC and monitor achievement.
• Lead the development of annual DC budgets and cost-out initiatives.
• Monitor and report on warehouse operations and KPI progress.
• Drive ISO certification processes and improvements.
• Identify root causes and action plans for issues and underperforming metrics.
• Lead development of DC leaders and succession planning.
• Travel up to 10%.
