Job summary

Hendrickson is seeking a supervisor to lead plant Materials functions, including shipping/receiving, warehouse, and material handling. The role focuses on maintaining uninterrupted material availability, improving productivity, and ensuring safety and quality in daily operations.

The candidate will coach associates, drive continuous improvement, and ensure adherence to company policies while coordinating with manufacturing teams to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with MRPII principles and software.
• Knowledge of warehouse inventory and floor stock cycle counting.
• Hands-on background in picking, processing and shipping orders; receiving PO material.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shipping/receiving, material handling, material flow and freight traffic.
• Provide logistical support to plant manufacturing to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
• Develop associates with problem solving techniques and training on system support activities.
• Coordinate material team efforts to meet customer, plant and company requirements.
• Interface with manufacturing to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Perform audits to ensure inventory accuracy and accountability.
