Job summary

Dover Corp is seeking a Production & Distribution Supervisor to lead and develop staff, set schedules, and ensure on-time delivery. You will coordinate with multiple departments to resolve delivery, material, and capacity issues while driving continuous improvement and safety compliance.

The role emphasizes daily leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and maintaining inventory accuracy to meet customer requirements across Production and Distribution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing, production, distribution, warehouse, or similar operations.
• Experience with production planning, scheduling, inventory control, shipping, and receiving.
• Experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily production and distribution plans to meet customer requirements and drive on-time delivery performance.
• Review forecast, customer demand, backlog, past-due orders, material availability, labor, and capacity to establish daily production and shipping priorities.
• Monitor OTD and past-due performance daily, identify delivery risks and key drivers, and execute and follow up on recovery actions.
• Lead daily production meetings to review priorities, delivery performance, past dues, material constraints, capacity, and recovery actions.
• Coordinate with Planning, Purchasing, Customer Service, Quality, Engineering, and other departments to resolve issues impacting production and customer delivery.
• Oversee Production, Shipping, Receiving, Material Transfer, and Inventory Control activities.
• Ensure production requirements and inbound/outbound shipments are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain effective material flow and inventory accuracy through proper transactions, cycle counting, reconciliation, and inventory controls.
• Ensure applicable quality, ERP, import/export, U.S. Customs, safety, and company requirements are followed.
• Provide daily leadership and direction to Production and Distribution employees.
