Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. seeks an Assistant Distribution Manager to ensure smooth warehouse operations, guide shifts, and drive accuracy in receiving, storing, and shipping. You will oversee training, scheduling, and adherence to safety standards while coordinating with the Supply Chain team to meet throughput goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• 3–5 years in outbound/inbound warehousing, preferably foodservice.
• Experience with mainframe software and AS/400 is preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; capable of reports and memos.

Responsibilities

• Oversee training and scheduling for warehouse shifts.
• Coordinate to minimize mistakes and waste in operations.
• Ensure safety and compliance with OSHA and company rules.
• Assist with procedures for receiving, sorting, storing, and shipping.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to Supply Chain.
