Job summary

McLane Company, Inc is seeking a Distribution Supervisor to oversee a warehouse area, manage staffing, training, safety, and daily operations to meet on-time delivery goals. You will create schedules, supervise staff, enforce procedures, control costs, and ensure quality while maintaining a safe work environment.

This role requires hands-on leadership, clear communication, and flexibility to handle early or late shifts and weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2 years distribution/warehouse experience, with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience leading large teams, hiring, training and resolving employee relations issues.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; able to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Direct and motivate teammates and oversee daily work of the department.
• Create and maintain schedules and job assignments; manage departmental paperwork.
• Train and develop teammates; enforce safety and operational procedures.
• Relieve other supervisors during vacations and ensure compliance with policies.
