Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Supervisor to oversee operations for an assigned area, ensuring staffing, training, tools, and resources meet customer demands for accurate, on-time deliveries.

Responsibilities include directing daily work, scheduling, coaching, and maintaining safety and efficiency across the department. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s preferred) and 2 years of distribution warehouse experience, with strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years distribution warehouse experience.
• Experience leading large teams and resolving employee relations issues.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Direct and motivate teammates.
• Communicate information to teammates.
• Address and follow-up on teammate questions and issues.
• Coordinate with leadership teams for goals and standards.
• Ensure safety, productivity, and quality meet standards.
• Maintain department paperwork and schedules.
• Provide training and coaching to teammates.
• Enforce Distribution Center policies and safety procedures.
• Be flexible with schedules and shifts as needed.
• Operate required equipment within 30 days of hire.
