American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a strategic leader to manage airline distribution content for the Americas. You will build strong relationships with external partners and internal teams to secure best-in-class content and optimize at the point of sale.

Bring 3+ years in airline distribution or travel tech, with a solid grasp of NDC, and the ability to translate complex issues into actionable plans for leadership across North America and LatAm.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the Airline and/or travel distribution space, with knowledge of NDC.
• Strong product and technology knowledge to influence product discussions.
• Proven ability to build relationships across complex organizations and external partners.
• Ability to translate complex issues into actionable leadership insights.
• Experience in Future-proofing within organizations.

• Drive the air distribution strategy in North America and LatAm with leadership.

What You’ll Do:

• Work withDistributionTeam’s leadership to drive the air distribution strategy inNorth America and Latam.

• Partnering with Airlines to ensure strong collaboration on distribution matters, alignment on goals and enhancing the overall offering to joint customers

• Work through content related issues and apply solutions asrequiredto overcome challenges

• Workingclosely withProduct & Technology,Marketplaceand Commercial teams toensure alignmentandprogress on key goals

• Developing and implementing new strategies to evolve and expand the content offered to customersutilizingnew capabilities and technology asrequired

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in theAirline and/or traveldistribution space. Ideal with good knowledge of NDC

• Strong product and technology knowledge baseto influence and lead product-related discussions.

• Strong relationship building skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and external partners. Ability to navigate a complex organization and find the right internal partner for each project

The US national base salary range for this position is from

$88,200.00 - $163,800.00

The national range provided includes the base salary that Amex GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.

In addition to base salary, the anticipated range of which is posted above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which rewards participants based on company and individual performance.
