This is a strategic role, where the successful applicant will be responsible for managing the distribution relationships with key external partners to secure best-in-class content for GBT’s customers and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure this content is optimized at point of sale.**What You’ll Do:*** Work with Distribution Team’s leadership to drive the air distribution strategy in North America and Latam.* Partnering with Airlines to ensure strong collaboration on distribution matters, alignment on goals and enhancing the overall offering to joint customers* Work through content related issues and apply solutions as required to overcome challenges* Working closely with Product & Technology, Marketplace and Commercial teams to ensure alignment and progress on key goals* Developing and implementing new strategies to evolve and expand the content offered to customers utilizing new capabilities and technology as required* Develop commercial models to meet the evolving needs of the marketplace**What We’re Looking For:*** 3+ years of experience in the Airline and/or travel distribution space. Ideally with good knowledge of NDC* Strong product and technology knowledge base to influence and lead product-related discussions.* Strong relationship building skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and external partners. Ability to navigate a complex organization and find the right internal partner for each project* Critical thinking skills coupled with translating complex technical and business issues into clear, actionable insights for leadership* Experience of ‘future proofing’ within organizations* Strong negotiation skills to ensure optimum value for the organization.* Strong analytical skills. Thrive in diverse, multi-time zone environments with cultural adaptability.**Location**United StatesThe US national base salary range for this position is from $88,200.00 - $163,800.00The national range provided includes the base salary that Amex GBT expects to pay for the role.
