Job summary

Expeditors International is seeking a Distribution Manager to oversee branch distribution activities, identify new distribution opportunities, and work with sales to convert opportunities into profitable business. You will lead operational and training tasks and support monthly client P&L reporting with accounting.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, strong process-documentation skills, and the ability to relate well with customers and colleagues at all levels.

Job Description

Scope of Position

Manages distribution product for the branch. The distribution manager seeks new distribution services opportunities and cooperates with sales to turn new opportunities into profitable business.?

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparation and implementation of the SOP
• Operational, training and other activities
• Provide necessary information to accounting to produce monthly client P&L

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four year college or university; or 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to define, develop and document business processes and procedures
• Effective interpersonal skills. Ability to relate to customers and employees at all levels.
• Experience with MS Windows , MS Office Products
