Job summary

ResMed is seeking a Distribution Lead in Greenwood to oversee shipping, receiving, storing of materials and finished goods. You will lead daily distribution activities, support warehouse tasks, manage inventory controls, and ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA and ISO standards.

You will mentor staff, participate in system upgrades and drive reliable, safe and efficient distribution operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in distribution or warehousing.
• At least 1 year of distribution/warehouse leadership experience.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Must be flexible to work varying schedules and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily activities for distribution employees.
• Participates in day-to-day warehouse duties.
• Performs inventory control: cycle counts, data entry, reports, reconciliation.
• Expedites critical shipments as needed.
• Acts as point of contact for distribution teams.
• Supports training of warehouse staff.
• Participates in system upgrades, testing or implementations.
• Enforces OSHA, FDA and ISO rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Walks, may sit/kneel/crouch, lifts up to 40 lbs.
• May handle packaged hazardous materials.
• Work environment is moderate to high noise.

The Distribution Lead will be responsible for leading the activities and workforce related to shipping, receiving, storing of materials and/or finished goods. This leader will function as a Subject Matter Expert on core functions and processes. This position will also work in conjunction with other members of management in the development of a workplace culture that reflects ResMed's organizational values, standards, core competencies and behaviors. This position reports to the Distribution Supervisor.

• Directs daily activities for distribution employees.
• Participates in theday to dayduties of the warehouse.

• Will walk and may occasionally sit, kneel, crouch, crawl andlift upto 40lbs.
• May handle "packaged" hazardous materials.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.

Required:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience (combination of education and experience will be considered)
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of distribution or warehouse leadership experience
• Strong familiarity with MS Office applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Display energetic, self-motivated and quick thinking with positive attitude.
• Must be flexible to work varying schedules, hours, and overtime as needed.

Preferred:

• Experience using Oracle
• Prior experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management) system
