Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including Receiving, Put-Away, Picking, Sorting, and Shipping.
• Ensure team members have tools and equipment needed to perform their jobs.
• Coach and guide team members, conducting on-the-job training as needed.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with Material Handling.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping and drive safety in the workplace.
• Lead meetings and communicate expectations and changes to staff.
• Support company values and achieve production goals through teamwork.
• Ensure operations meet specifications and quality standards.

Overview

The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day operations of key warehouse processes: Receiving, Put-Away, Picking, Sorting, and Shipping. The Team Leader ensures a smooth and consistent operation so all distribution process function properly.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)

• Ensure Team Members have the proper tools and equipment to perform their jobs
• Ensure that product defects are repaired, minimized, and returned to proper location
• Monitor product inventory and communicate with Material Handling
• Assist all Team Members to ensure the production continues to move
• Create and maintain a positive working environment that enhances team spirit
• Meet daily production goals through continuous improvement and teamwork
• Coach, counsel, and provide guidance and on-the-job-training to Team Members
• Communicate with Team Members concerning expectations, performance, and any changes
• Support company values and goals to establish a world class organization
• Ensure that all work is performed within specification
• Maintain housekeeping to 5S standards
• Conduct or participate in team and safety meetings, and promote safety within the workplace
• Prompt, regular, predictable attendance
