Job summary

Employbridge is seeking a Distribution Supervisor for a growing distribution and logistics operation in Wisconsin. The ideal candidate has strong distribution center experience with proven leadership to oversee daily operations, shipping, inventory accuracy, and safety in a hands-on, train-and-motivate role.

This is a full-time, second-shift leadership position offering salary between $70,000 and $83,000 annually, with a Monday–Friday core schedule, occasional extended hours, and rare Saturday

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of distribution, warehouse, or logistics experience.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience required; from any industry.
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and team development skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and departments.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Safety, accuracy, and operational excellence commitment.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Warehouse operations, shipping processes, and inventory controls experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of distribution center operations, including team leadership, inventory control, productivity, and safety.
  • Oversee daily shipping activities, labor scheduling, and workflow management.
  • Supervise effective utilization of warehouse space, equipment, and personnel.
  • Train, develop, and mentor distribution center associates and team leads.
  • Coach and build leadership capabilities within the team.
  • Monitor and maintain distribution center accuracy and operational performance.
  • Adjust staffing and scheduling to meet customer and business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and procedures.
  • Foster a collaborative, positive, and accountable work environment.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement operational enhancements.
  • Support inventory management processes and accuracy initiatives.
  • Lead by example while promoting teamwork, communication, and employee engagement.

Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday, generally 1:00 PM-9:00 PM
  • Supervisor typically works approximately 12:30 PM-9:30 PM
  • Occasional Saturday work may be required, but is rare.
Compensation:
  • $70,000-$83,000 annually based on experience
