Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager II to oversee warehouse operations across the network. You will lead a team of Operations Managers, drive process improvements, and ensure safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

With responsibility for P&L, vendor relations, and customer satisfaction, you will shape strategic warehouse initiatives and report on performance, leveraging a strong leadership presence to advance our contract logistics leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience
• 2+ years in supply chain, warehousing or distribution
• Experience in 3PL/contract logistics preferred
• Staff management required
• P&L management preferred
• Project management preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
• WMS experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations (receiving, storing, shipping)
• Develop strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs and boost productivity
• Lead and coach Operations Managers and staff, building a strong team culture
• Ensure safety and compliance with policies and regulations
• Utilize WMS, automation, and tech to track inventory and performance
• Manage vendor relationships and cost-effective services
• Prepare reports on performance, inventory and metrics for decision-making
• Maintain strong customer relationships and drive satisfaction
• Own site P&L and contribute to MB/RQBR presentations
