Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager I - Distribution to lead the warehouse operations and strategic processes across our networks in the United States. This role focuses on developing and implementing processes to optimize warehouse operations and drive overall success.

You will manage a team of Operations Managers, oversee safety and compliance, and leverage WMS and technology to monitor performance and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of managerial or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping.
• Develop strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs, and raise productivity.
• Lead and coach Operations Managers and staff to build a strong team culture.
• Ensure safety compliance and policy adherence across the facility.
• Utilize WMS and technology to track inventory and monitor metrics.
• Manage vendor relationships and site operations within the commercial agreement.
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance and key metrics for decision making.
• Manage customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Own the site's profit and loss and present MBR/QBR to customers.
