Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a General Manager I to lead a major warehouse operation in the United States. You will oversee daily activities, drive process improvements, and manage P&L for the site, ensuring safety, accuracy, and on-time performance through strong team leadership and strategic planning.

This role requires 5+ years of managerial experience, 2+ years in supply chain or warehousing, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in managerial/supervisory roles.
• At least 2 years in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment.
• Experience with 3PL/contract logistics preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with WMS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations (receiving, storage, shipping).
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes and minimize costs.
• Lead and coach Operations Managers and staff, building a strong team culture.
• Ensure safety, policy compliance, and strong customer service.
• Utilize WMS and automation to monitor performance and drive improvements.
• Prepare and present reports (MBR/QBR) and manage vendor relationships.
• Manage site P&L and contribute to overall profitability.
