Job summary

POWERX Distribution Engineer II is responsible for the engineering design, cost estimation, project coordination, and field inspection of electric power distribution projects. This role supports other departments and delivers cost-effective, safe, and high-quality solutions for our clients, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or General).
• 1-3 years of progressive engineering experience.
• EIT or PE license preferred.
• Technical skills and familiarity with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, estimate, and coordinate the construction of overhead and underground power distribution systems for residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Lead and manage "Capital" and "O&M" projects through all phases of development, from concept to closeout.
• Identify and implement innovative engineering solutions to improve system reliability, cost efficiency, and safety.
• Prepare accurate project documentation, reports, and technical analyses.
• Maintain records related to project progress, cost, and compliance.
