The Container Store is hiring a Distribution Center Supervisor in the United States. This full-time, exempt role partners with the management team to meet operational and financial objectives, while developing leaders within the staff.

The position emphasizes safety, performance metrics, scheduling, and hands-on floor leadership. Strong communication skills and experience with WMS systems are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Automation, LM and WMS experience preferred.
• Experience managing others including career development, directing and evaluating work.
• Ability to pass background checks and investigations as required.
• Flexibility to work additional hours based on business needs.
• Knowledge of industry business trends and best practices.
• Clear, professional communication with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Communicates expectations and evaluates distribution operations performance.
• Partners with Manager to develop employee goals and aspirations.
• Leads goal communication and ensures understanding by staff.
• Ensures safety policies and procedures are followed.
• Monitors reporting and metrics to drive daily operations.
• Manages scheduling, time edits, and payroll considerations.
• Maintains floor presence and supports daily operations.
• Conducts timely performance reviews.
• Maintains discretion with confidential information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
